ad·ven·ture [ad-ven-cher]. noun.
Hey. You.
Yeah you, big winner.
Welcome. Name’s Chad, and I started this thing that I’ve decided to call my “adventure blog” for the purposes of chronicling the various adventures I find myself in and what I learn from them, detailing the discoveries I make about myself along the way that others might relate to, and finding a home for some of the brainchildren I bring into this world that might just find brain-homes in the brains of others as well.
Who is this site for?
This site is for the dreamers and doers, the adventurers, the people who want to get more out of life and to live on their own terms.
This site is for those who want to find ways to change the world around them for the better while experiencing it in deeper and more exciting ways.
This site is for anyone from any walk of life who has a desire to live an extraordinary life of excitement and adventure, whatever that may mean to you personally.
Basically, this site is for YOU.
Though twentysomethings may relate to the content especially, you do NOT have to be in your twenties to get something meaningful out of this site, as the quest for personal growth and adventure is not something you really ever grow out of (hopefully).
What can you expect to read about here?
I’m starting this blog at the onset of my biggest adventure yet– selling most of my possessions and beginning a nomadic life lived out of my car, and I’ll be sharing those experiences, as well as everything I learn from them that I think other people can benefit from as well. I also write generally about self-improvement, defying conformity, and traveling.
For me, a life of adventure entails living outside the lines of the 9 to 5, valuing people and experiences and adventures far more than a house filled with the newest things I don’t need, accepting that normalcy and the cultural status quo just aren’t for me, and creating my own life on my owns terms without having to submit to the drudgeries of boring routines and unfulfilling days.
In journaling the experiences and insights that emerge from my adventures, I hope to continue in my growth and self-improvement, be perpetually metamorphosed by my expanding view of and knowledge about the world around me, and attempt to play some part in igniting or kindling the passions and ideas of other like-minded people who choose to see the world as I see it–as an endless learning experience, a place where anything you want strongly enough is possible.
So join me as I make my life only and exactly what I want it to be, and share with me through comments or emails (thechadisstuck@gmail.com) the ways that you are doing the same.
